Cruisers Yachts launched the VTR line with the 38 VTR, targeting cruisers who want to build adventurous itineraries around fishing, watersports, and overnighting. It comes in open or enclosed-cockpit (EC) versions, and a 38 VTR Fish variant adds dedicated fishing features for buyers coming out of the pure center console segment. The brand-new hull design has a modified step from chine to first spray rail. Running in Gulf Stream chop, the boat sliced 2- to 3-foot seas without a creak. Flat-water top speed sits just under 40 knots at 6,000 rpm. Comfortable cruise sits at 26.5 mph. More info: www.cruisersyachts.com
