Glasstream Powerboats unveiled a new center-console model at the Miami International Boat Show aimed at the angler searching for more performance.

The new 360 LS is the latest model from the Dothan, Alabama builder, which manufactures center-console boats from 17 to 36 feet. The running surface for the 360 LS is a patented dual ventilated step hull, which the company says provides the driest, smoothest and the most efficient ride on the water.

The debut model was equipped with triple Mercury Racing 400R outboards, which Glasstream says has an impressive top-end speed of 91 mph. The 360 LS will be available with twin 350-hp Mercury Racing outboards or triples from 350 hp up to the 450R. Ashley Strong, director of sales and market development for Glasstream Powerboats, said the center-console boat with triple Mercury Racing 450R outboards is expected to have a top speed of 97 mph, making it one of the fastest triple engine center consoles on the market.

The 360 LS offers more than performance, providing a serious platform for anglers and room for entertaining. The helm has seating for three people and the builder provides the option for bolster seating aft or a wet bar. (There is a bench on the stern.)

Glasstream included a pair of large Garmin screens for hull No. 1, which made its debut in February. Protecting the captain and guests from the elements is a large hardtop and a substantial acrylic windscreen.

Stepping into the cabin there is a small galley and an area to rest that fits children or adults. Just in front of the console is a contoured lounge for two people and the bow has abundant seating with the U-shape lounge. An innovative table creates a lounging area in the bow.

The sole is covered by plush SeaDek nonskid and the top of the gunwales had nonskid in key spots. The hull comes with a 10-year warranty from the manufacturer.

Strong said hull No. 2 is currently in production and base price for the 360 LS is around $330,000.
