Honda has introduced its brand-new, big v8 fuel-injected, 32-valve monster outboard and its all naturally aspirated with less moving parts. It boasts a 10 to 1 impression ratio and it even runs on 86-octane fuel. This gutsy 350-hp motor is running on extremely mild camshaft lobes, allowing for a much greater lifespan for the valve train and lifters.
Why didn’t Honda get into this big transom outboard power earlier? I’m sure this entry and new flagship motor will bring the Honda consumers and buyers on the water with this new surge of enthusiasm bearing the Honda name on this newly designed cowling. The engine will be ready for the Canadian market in early 2024 and it has a five-year warranty. This boat will be ideal to push the 25-footers, up to the big 40-foot vessels with a set of quads, providing both pleasure and performance.
